Carter Page Divulged The Memo Plan In Late October

I find this very curious (from the Rachel Maddow Show)....

The memo, Maddow argues, fleshes out the timeline of Page's warrants that were granted by the secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court -- which would mean that when he appeared in a "nutty" interview with her coworker Chris Hayes in late October 2017, he was likely still under surveillance.

This is the "nutty" interview that she refers to. Page stumbles and bumbles his way through the questions - acknowledging a few things here and there. But at the 7 minute mark he gives a perfect description of what will happen with the Nunes Memo - only he is describing it as what Paul Ryan will release.

In the course of the actual events, Paul Ryan did give his stamp of approval. This interview took place in late October, 2017. A full 3 months ago. Page is essentially telling us that this scheme was cooked up several months ago - with the various participants complicit - and the fact that Carter Page is so clear about it would arguably mean that the White House and Nunes were in on this from the beginning. Otherwise, how would Page know the strategy of the chair of the Intel Committee (the "secret" Intel committee).

Important part is at 7 minutes:

This has all the earmarks of a huge conspiracy to discredit law enforcement. Using Carter Page is the weak link in this, because Page has had way more contact with Russians than anyone can feel comfortable about.

But, conspiracy is still the best term.

Devin Nunes has had this scheme being prepared for some time...and everybody involved has been working their end of the narrative. But even with all this prep and hype, the memo has been a colossal failure.

A dud. A cherry picked set of facts.

The vast cover up conspiracy is only arousing more interest from the special counsel.

Robert Mueller - do your job.
